According to a biannual report by the Society of Actuaries regarding retirement expenses, nearly half of all Americans have no retirement savings at all and will rely almost solely on Social Security for retirement income. Nearly one-third, 30%, of Baby Boomers entered retirement due to circumstances beyond their control.
