How do successful advisors deal with fees in a way that builds trust with their clients?


Financial advisors have made great strides in presenting their fees to clients in a transparent fashion, according to a research report from State Street Global Advisors and @ Wharton, which is affiliated with the Wharton Business School at the University of Pennsylvania. Yet, there are still significant gaps between successful advisors and average advisors, according to the report, but evidence shows that the most successful advisors make disclosure of fees their top priority. These disclosures cover four main areas:
1) Disclose transparently
2) Disclose early
3) Disclose context
4) Disclose in writing
